About Tibbetts/Dilbert/Hunter of Cayman Brac
This site revolves around William Adolphus Tibbetts and Sarah Etheline Tibbetts nee Dilbert (their parents, aunts, uncles, siblings, neices, nephews, cousins as well as their direct descendants).
Thank you for joining this site. Many of you may only know your relatives that are on your `branch` of the tree; some you have never seen each other before or not even heard their name and some you may have seen each other but did not know you were related. It has given me nothing but pleasure (surprises and jokes) while doing this project. My grandmother, Marjorie up until she was on her dying bed ALWAYS ALWAYS pressed on us (her children and grandchildren) the importance of family...she always wanted to her family to live in harmony and not have a wry word between any of them because that is how she lived with her brothers and sisters and with her parents. A lot of hours have been put it to this project, and I thank all of you for your assistance with helping me gather the information whether it was via BBM, Facebook, Emails, Facebook messenger, telephone calls, or conversations in person. I would not have been able to compile all of this information without you! Please feel free to make corrections, add photos write or add comments or memories in the Guest Book. Please note that I also have another family tree using a different program which I can email to you (I think it is a better hardcopy layout than the online version) I will try and also make this available in the near future. If I have made any mistakes with names, DOB`s DOD`s, spouses etc, I apologize please let me know so they can be corrected (because remember I would need to correct the `tree` on the other program too) Once again, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! and ENJOY!!!!!
~Remember! You can choose friends, but you can`t choose FAMILY~

Getting Around There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool. |
