About Bastian Plunkett Waugh Family
Please sign in to see more. This family website is a combination of my and my partner Andy's ancestors.
My paternal line consists of the Cornish migrants to South Australia in the 1840's; the families of Bastian, Julian and Rough, through the Wendish migrants to South Australia in the same period; Modra, Kukawa, Duschka and Lucas. As well as the Haydocks, McCloskeys and the Kellys.
My maternal line consists of Irish migrants;
Plunkett, Clancy, Dwyer, McGrath, Maloney and Quinn and the English families of Nixon, Field, Knight, Turvey and Apletree.
The Waugh family is only new to Australia. But back in England we have the families of Waugh, Crozier and Lintern.
There's a particular interest in the Kalbfleisch family from Prussia who emigrated to London in the late 19th Century. So if you have any information on this part of the family, please message me !
Family history is a passion of mine and Andy's and I've recently started using DNA research to further extend our family trees.
Please message me if you have any questions or would like copies of any documents I have.
In honour of my cousin Les Hunter who sadly passed away too young in 2015, I have started working on his family tree. Family names include Cornelius, Way(e), Moore, Male.
