Dedicated to "Hassie Loraine Harmon Vaughan"

Welcome cousins and all who stop by for a visit. This is a work in progress and information will be added as it becomes available. I have been researching since I visited the Genealogy Library in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1995. I found the family history submitted to the library by a cousin, Reba Jean Vaughn Wright and her brother Raymond Vance Vaughn. The surname is spelled with or without the a in different families. I am not sure why some dropped the a.
Genealogy is fascinating and my only regret is not getting started sooner. Every time someone passes on their stories and history are lost to us forever. I have published this tree to honor the memory of those individuals who have gone before us.

Unfortunately, on the Vaughan ancestors, I have not been able to get back to Benjamin's father. But we can see the clan by visiting the Vaughan DNA project. Cousin Ruth Vaughan Denson submitted her brother Newals' DNA for that. There is a link on the home page. If any one can help me decipher a German birth
record that has been scrawled all over please let me know. There is a picture of the record in the documents photo album for Johann Ludwig Zurn.

Thank you,

Betty Vaughan Zorn
Please email me any corrections or comments.

Thanks and Enjoy,
 BVZ

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
