About Val's Family
Please sign in to see more.
This family tree is a work of love and dedication to each and every member of our family. This project is done in hope that our future generations will appreciate all those who have come before them and all those who come after. It is a work in progress and will be updated (and probably corrected) from time to time. Look around and if you see any mistakes or you can add information, (give as well as take), please let me know.
Please sign the Guest Book, and add any comments, (I need all the encouragement I can get).
I would be obliged if you would not use any of the photographs without my prior permission.

My main family surnames are as follows:-
My fathers line is LAWSON - West Riding, Yorkshire, England/ Western Australia, Australia My mothers line is NEWMAN - Sussex, England/ Victoria, Australia / Western Australia, Australia My husbands line is HOOPER - Cornwall, England / Western Australia, Australia

Many thanks to those wonderful people who have shared information and given me help along the way.

My Grandkids say I am always on the computer so i have added this poem.

THE COMPUTER SWALLOWED GRANDMA

The computer swallowed grandma.
 Yes, honestly its true!
 She pressed 'control' and 'enter'
 And disappeared from view.

It devoured her completely,
The thought just makes me squirm.
She must have caught a virus
Or been eaten by a worm...

I've searched through the recycle bin
 And files of every kind;
 I've even used the Internet,
 But nothing did I find..

In desperation, I asked Google
 My searches to refine.
The reply from him was negative,
Not a thing was found 'online.'

So, if inside your 'In-box,'
 My Grandma you should see,
 Please 'Copy,''Scan' and 'Paste' her
And send her back to me.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
