About The Bowen-Lincoln Connection
Please sign in to see more. The Bowen-Lincoln Family Connection started when our Great-Grandmother, Emily Beatrice Bowen was born on April 4, 1878 in St. Georges, Bermuda. She was one of seven children born to Emily Smith Bowen and Benjamin Bishop Bowen. In the year 1900 she accompanied a caucasian woman to the United States of America. While living in Perth Amboy, New Jersey she met, fell in love with and married Charles Abraham Lincoln who was originally from Nelson County, Virginia. To this union seven children were born....Earl, Louise, Harold, Priscilla, Marguerite, Madeline and Frederick. Now remember Emily was also one of seven children.
She was the only one to settle in the United States while her other 6 brothers and sisters remained in Bermuda.
As a result we have an even larger group of relatives in Bermuda. Here is our story..... |
