We would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of the family members who have shared,  updated and corrected information and photo's. This is a family project and is always  on going.

This site is aimed at the family only and is password protected so only invited  guests can view. Birthdates for living family members are not shown to help protect  their privacy.

There are 4 things we ask of family who view the website.

1. To check your family details and let me know of any additions or corrections     (Sometimes mistakes are made and we like to have the website as correct and     up to date as possible). Below are things we would like to confirm about     yourself, spouses/partners and children and if you are up to the challenge     parents & siblings and families.
              - Full Names
              - Date & Place of Birth
              - Date and Place of Marriage
              - Other relevant information like changes in marital status, changes in name etc...

2. Reference to and sourcing of the website if you plan to publish any information        taken directly off the website or submit data to any other websites.     (Information which is honestly new to you at viewing of this website)      No one person owns this site as it is a family site but there are a number of     very hard working family members who have made this site what it is today and      their work deserves to be recognized not stolen.

3. Are you are an active researcher and researching other family lines within the wider Newport family and would like be happy to help other researchers with the same family interests? – If so please contact us to add your name and email address to the notes field of your main family line.

4. Share the website with other family members and enjoy! Don't forget to sign the guest book so others in the family can make contact.

Update 27 Aug 2022 - In loving memory of  Bro Dan (John Connell) who dedicated hours putting families in touch with each other and who was the founder of this tree, his hard work is much appreciated by the extended Newport family  - departed this world on the 26th Aug 2022 gone but not forgotten
