About Claybourne History and Genealogy
Please sign in to see more.
The password to view is family. Clayton, my husband went to meet his ancesters, and I Judy am trying to keep his page going.
This research is ongoing, and it couldn't have been put together without the help of all my cousins. I want to thank each and every one of them. They are to many to list, but YOU know who you are!
I also want to thank my wife, Judy, for her typing and placing photos. (She has more patience than me!)
Please feel free to report to me, any errors or different information. I will be happy to correct any errors with proof.
Special thanks to Joe Hacker,Susan Burrough and Shirley Allen, Janet Engle and Cindie Terry. The Don Norman Files has helped fill in many dates. I have recieved info from Toni Ratliff and filling in some blanks. Also adding a few names here and there.
Thanks to each family member for supplying any family history. If you have anything to add, please e-mail us, or sign the guestbook! Thanks for looking around!

Come, look with me inside this drawer, In this box I've often seen, At the pictures, black and white, Faces proud, still, and serene.
I wish I knew the people, These strangers in the box, Their names and all the memories, Are lost among my socks.
I wonder what their lives were like, How did they spend their days? What about their special times? I'll never know their ways.
If only someone had taken time, To tell, who, what, where and when, These faces of my heritage, Would come to live again.
Could this become the fate, of the pictures we take today? The faces and the memories, Someday to be passed away?
Take time to save your stories, Seize the opportunity when it knocks, Or someday you and yours, Could be the strangers in the box.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
