About BUNN-YOUNG families of Texarkana USA
Please sign in to see more.
******* This web page was begun when I got custody of my grandchildren and "retired". It has been a joy to do. And so much fun finding so many new family connections. Enjoy looking around and don't forget to sign the guest book. Always, if you see incorrect information or can fill in missing info, PLEASE send it to me so I can get it corrected. ***********
Because I am including Living persons & private info, in an attempt to connect with our "bigger family", I have initiated a password for family to view that info (email me). I know it is a pain but it will give family members more knowledge and protect the privacy of all. I have also upgraded to a paid site so we will have more features available and space for many more photos. That should be a lot of fun!!
*****MYSTERY***** photo album.
I received the collection of photo albums and other loose photos of my aunt (Gracie May YOUNG-WESTMORELAND). Also, many from my grandmother (MOM), Emma BROOKS-BUNN, her daughters, Lela O'Brien and Dorothy Nabors. Aunt Bess has a box of albums and sent them to me as she went through them. Most of the pics are family whom I knew many years ago, while growing up. There were a few pages from an album (with the black, acid loaded pages) to which some of the photos had been glued. Most are very faded. Some had full names, some only first names, some had ages or years. But not all had all info. Take a look at them and if you know any of them, please let me know.
This site is mainly "my" family. I've helped my son, Clifford, with his tree on his Dad's side. They go back to Holland in the 1300's; France in the 1600's; thence to "The New World"; and a lot of them were in the American Revolution! See the box above for "Useful Links" and click on Clifford Charles CRATE. This takes you to Champenois-Shampanore of New York, New Jersey, Wisconsin. Fascinating bunch.
If you use any of my photos, notes, et al, please use the site and my name as your source. I am hoping to find more of my family. I have found a number of my photos on other sites without any mention of where they came from. I know they are mine as nobody else in the family had them. If you think we have a connection, email me and use the name of the family you are researching in the subject line so that I don't delete it.

Getting Around There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool. |
