Welcome to my Family Tree website, The Dee-Lohan Genealogy.

I have been researching family history for about 7 years (as of 2011).  In this time  I have learnt that when you are consolidating data and creating family groups, things  can get a little messy.  Before starting, I made a conscious decision to only  research and document those people with whom I personally have a blood connection  with, and their spouses.  Therefore I have only incorporated my direct ancestors, and  their direct descendants into my data.

I largely do my work for recreational purposes, it interests me greatly to know where  I come from and from what 'stock' I am bred.  I also do this work so thay my own  descendants may one day appreciate the work I have done, and can also appreciate  looking back into the past and seeing where THEY come from.

The photo's I have organised into family albums based on my 4 grandparents.  Dee,  Boyd, Lohan and Hamblion.  Hopefully it will make them easier to manage and easier  for you to find photos of those people that you yourself are related to.
