About My BIRD and TYLER Roots & Branches
Welcome to the building of my family tree! This is a project I hope
never ends as new generations are added and old generations are rediscovered.
Included are my roots plus all the branches & twigs of the many other families who joined with
mine.
A BIG "Thank you" to everyone who has graciously shared their research with me &
steered me in the right direction when I got bogged down. You all know who you are; I
could not have gotten this far without you. A special THANKS goes out to a loved cousin, Sheila
Joan Ray Godwin, who I found while researching & who had tons of info on my Bird roots - some of
which I am now
using.
Also, pictures help tell our story and put faces to names. Many of the pictures were handed
down to me, many more were shared. Thank you to all who shared these precious memories!
Much of the information on this site is documented, some is not; some is personal knowledge, and
some has been passed down to me. If you have any
additions, corrections or other information, please let me know so this site can be as
accurate as possible. Genealogy is not an exact science & mistakes are easily made.
Enjoy your stay here getting to know my family and please leave feedback in the guest
book.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
