This is a work in progress.  It started with Henry Clay Ellison & Julia Ann  Scott who lived and raised their family in Clay County WV. It has led to  connections to other long time Clay County families such as Pierson, Samples,  Summers, Davis, Morris and Moore to name a few.  We have found connections to  many early pioneers of Virginia, West Virginia,Ohio, Kentucky and Western  Pennsylvania.  The family has grown beyond the expectations of that young  couple and their decendants are all over America.  Many thanks to all those  who have helped on this project.
