About The Evolution Tree
"O si yo!" "Guten Tag!" "Dia Duit!" "Bonjour Baby!" "Hello Everyone!"
If you are reading this you are family and I welcome you. PLEASE SIGN THE GUESTBOOK BEFORE LEAVING.
Over the years I have become aware of and been a part of our families Hunger to know about its
History, but we have never been able to put together the GRAND tree that I believe lays behind us.
So I started this web site in the hopes that by working together we might put together the pieces
of this vast riddle.
Some of you have MUCH to offer the site; Spencer I know you’re out there. Others feel free to send
me information or request access to YOUR own branch of the tree, where you can add your own
information, documents and photos.
Please try to make a point to add documentation of some kind. Cut and paste documents into the
sources page if need be, but I would like this to be the truest, strongest tree we can build.
Lots of work has been done recently-there is so much to try to fit in. Check out the Photos-Index
where you can see the downloaded Documents, Headstones, and more.
I would like to give special thanks to ALL my helpful family historians, let me know you’ve
contributed so I can give you your due credit.
From when I first started all this back in 1997, I want to thank:
Suzanne (Baldwin)Knox-for the hours at the library and graveyards researching with me.
Deborah (Baldwin)and Jim Strickland- for running all over up north gathering information
             for me.
Sharon (DeLap)Paszek-for being our tour guide on our trips up north.
Louise Vinz-for her help with the Laufenberg side, and all the information she furnished.
Spencer Baldwin-for the advice and copies of MANY documents that aided in the research
Eunice (Roberts)Peterson-for all the help and information on the Roberts side.
The countless copies and hours she put in-where are you!?
Virginia Leffler-for providing info to me about the Wagner and Kluge sides and all her
instructions about how to do a family tree.
More recently, I would like to thank:
Rhonda (Baldwin) Goodchild- for furnishing the information that was needed for her
branch of the tree and the WONDERFUL photos of her family.
Mya (Roberts) Fish- don't let a shaky start stop you, I need you, I really do!
Evelyn Goodchild- our youngest historian and my proof reader.
Finally I want to extend a special thanks to my Aunt Gail Vinz, who has always shown a
special interest in the family tree and continues to aide in the addition and
correction of it on a every day base. Without her help there would be MANY mistakes.
I want to thank my Fellow Historians who share in my interest and hunger to discover our past:
Spencer Baldwin, Who has always talked to me about starting something like this. I hope in
the end you not only help us, but that it becomes a useful tool for you also.
Jean (Baldwin)Root who furnished not only information but those FABULOUS photos., WONDERFUL!
Laura Taylor from the Aaron Revels branch of the family tree. Thank you for your
time, your photos, your leads to the others. Til we meet again 5th cousin twice removed;-)

Beverly Wolf and her Mother Johan Storez from the Christina Viola (Roberts) branch.
Thank you for traveling so far and sharing so much! It ment so much to talk to someone
who grew up with my mother.
               O.K. YOU GUYS.....DON’T STOP NOW!!

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
