The Thompson Family Tree currently contains just a small portion of our story; however, it is a living document. The roots of this tree will extend deeper as additional information about our past is discovered and its branches will grow further and reach higher as the family enlarges. 
Beginning with the earliest known documented facts of our history, the births of our family patriarchs, GABRIEL THOMPSON in 1823, THOMAS THOMPSON in 1831, and MARSHALL THOMPSON we have a beautifully rich and vibrantly colorful heritage of which to be very proud. 
Despite having been born into slavery and forced to work the land of a plantation owner, each THOMPSON brother died a landowner and successful businessman. Now nearly 200 years later, our ever thriving legacy of FAITH, FAMILY, INDEPENDENCE, LAND OWNERSHIP, and ENTREPRENEURSHIP is our greatest testament to ancestors and to each other.
This is my earnest attempt to pay homage to our ancestors on whose shoulders we stand and to uplift our descendants for whom we have the great honor of kneeling in order to do for them that which was so graciously done for us.
