The goal of this tree is to provide a history for those who have been here, for  those who are here and for those yet to come.
 Starting with myself, Gordon William Pake b.1935, I am tied to the Pake's on my  fathers side and the Began's on my mothers side. My wife Mary Josephine Aucoin b.1935  is tied to the Aucoin's on her fathers side and to the Poirier's on her mothers side.                                        THE PAKE'S
 Robert Pake b.1728 is the oldest known ansector.  Born in Rushall, Norfolk, England.  His great grand son William John Pake, a stone mason by trade, imigrated to Canada in  1880. On Feb. 3 1903 when he was 48 he married my grand mother Rachel Leggatt. The  wedding took place in the rectory of Christ Church, Wellington St., Chatham Ontario.  Newpaper of the day, Chatham Daily Plant, carried item on front page. "Uinque Wedding  both deaf mutes -".   
                                       THE AuCOIN'S
 The first Aucoin in our tree is Martin Aucoin, born in St Barthelemy, La Rochelle,  France.  He was born in 1595 and died between 1632 and 1640.  His grandson Martin  Aucoin ( his father was Francois Aucoin b.abt 1622 in Cougnes, Larochelle, France)  immigrated to New France to begin the line in North America.  He was born 1651 in  Cougnes, LaRochelle, France and Died 14 May 1711 in Riviere des Canards, Acadia. He  was buried in Saint Charles des Mines, Nova Scotia.
                                        THE BEGAN'S
  Bernard Began b 1843 my 2xgFather, is the earliest family we have found on my mothers side. He was  born in Ireland (possibly Dublin). 
                                       THE POIRIER'S
 The earliest Poirier is Joseph Poirier b.1890 d. 960. He was born lived and died in Cheticamp Nova  Scotia.

The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list.
