I have tried to cross reference and validate information from three different sources to evidence  the connection in order to get the 'right' ancestor.  So early on in my research, I thought I was  on the right path only to discover at a much later date, that I was way off course and that  my 'ancestor' had no connection whatsoever to me!!

My research has been a labour of love - finding names, places, connections.  I can only imagine  the lives my ancestors had, and guess at what they may have looked like.  I hope that my ancestors  were 'good' people.

I hope that when my time comes to depart this life, that at least one person will look upon my  research with the same enthusiasm as I do/did and try to fill in the missing links and blanks!

I should be rather flattered to find my research in other people's published family trees but I am  rather saddened that information has been lifted without my consent.  Over the years I have spent  a small fortune on birth, marriage and death certificates - I currently have over 200 varying in  cost between £6.50 - £9.00 and these, too, have been copied. If you use my research, then please  acknowledge my work.  Hundreds and hundred of hours of my time along with ££££ in database  subscriptions have created this tree.
