New Zealand descendants of the Odd family added 24.11.2010 ~~~~~~

This is my children's family tree showing my and my husband's ancestors and their families. It is a work in progress as I still have loads of information to add; It's just a matter of getting
the time to transcribe it from the various files.

Please contact me if there is any information of interest to you in your research, or if you have
 corrections or additions to suggest.

I have tried to maintain the privacy of all living members of the family and have deliberately left
off most of the "current"generations but if you find something that has slipped through and you would like it removed please get in touch right away and I'll see to it.

I should like to say an enormous thank you to all family members, far and wide who have supplied
information and photographs and have helped me to fill in blanks and identify forgotten faces.

A quick note about sources. On direct linesI have used original sources: birth marriage and death
certificates, census returns, original newspaper reports etc.

Where the lines are more distant I have used some original sources, but more of the information will have come to me second-hand. I have moved to new family history software recently and not all
the source information has transferred as I'd have liked, so my apologies for that. Please let me
know if you have any queries. I'm happy to scan documents and send them on.

Please sign the Guestbook so I know you've visited and come back later to see what's new.

Sam

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
