About Hathaways from Illinois
EDWARD J HATHAWAY AND LAURA P HATHAWAY and their THREE children (at the time) moved west from Rossville, IL in NOVEMBER 1944 and ended up in Renton, WA where Edward and Laura worked for BOEING AIRCRAFT during the remainder of the 2nd World War......I was not quite 4 1/2 for the train ride west.......

Genealogy lines of the Hathaways, Baxters, Fraileys and many more from my perspective as I seem to be
the only Hathaway with enough interest to fill in the blanks and ask the questions. So when I pass it
will all go down the tube unless someone else shows an interest in their relatives, past and present...through this site and a more inclusive site I have with Ancestry.com in the Family Tree Maker I have been contacted by a 4th cousin, Kathleen Frailey Puls of Maryland who IS a professional genealogist and has shared many valuable facts, figures, pictures and bits of information regarding the Frailey line....

I have scanned numerous photos, many acquired from my sister, Gwendolyn Mae Hathaway Rogers and other
sources, even some I have copied and pasted from Facebook.....so those of you holding old pictures may
want to share as you may have some photos I have not seen.....dating and naming the photos are important aspects to me as I enter the information...

On my Family Tree Maker in Ancestry.com I have gone back to about the 1000 A.D. era when the name was
 not even Hathaway.....

My earliest entry is De Heathway b. 960 A.D., a Twenty-Fifth Great Grandfather, in the Ancestry.com Family Tree Maker....

My newest entry to the "TREE" is HUDSON ELIZABETH CORNWELL b. May 11, 2013, a great grand niece...

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
