Hi Everyone!  This site is mostly for my immediate and extended family.  I would like you guys to be able to record important events in your respective families.  It would be very nice to keep this updated and the site is designed so that you or any of us are able to edit the family tree, add photos, add stories, add announcements, etc.

I'm starting with an existing database that I'm sure is full of errors.  Maybe we can each take some time and update all of our current information and then we can work back.

The Ellis family is scattered now all over the place. We've come a long way from our
beginnings in Nagyrozvagy Hungary
where our family name was spelled ILLES.  The name was changed by my great grandfather Albert Ellis
(Illes).  He was the first of our family to emigrate to AMERICA and he felt it very important to
have an anglicized name in his new country, a country he came to love very much.

I've customized this site to only allow those with an access code to access private information of
all 'living' persons.  This is to protect our privacy and also to protect any of us from identity
theft.  Only those that enter the access code will be able to view contact information relating to
'living' persons.  Contact me  if you have any
