Getting Around There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool. |

Family comes from a Latin word to do with the servants of a household. In the present it can be restricted to the nuclear family (parents and their children), broadened to include blood relatives, increased to include relatives by marriage, extended to their relatives by marriage and throughout including siblings and their ancestors and descendants.
Some trees are simple pedigree charts listing child to parents as far as can be traced, excluding siblings. Others start with an ancestor and attempt to list the descendants. In the interests of inclusion, I have chosen to broaden the search to go as far back as possible for any pedigree and as wide and as current as possible on any line of descent.
The space for links to other trees is full. Here are some more.

This is a BIG job. Can't be fired. Can't retire. Won't quit.
But I need and am seeking active assistance AND ACTIVE ASSISTANTS.
After many tries and too long a time working on the family tree on my own, I have found a way of sharing the results with any family members who wish to see the family tree, This also opens up the task to any who wish to share in the opportunity. Hopefully, others will offer corrections, updates, additional information and additional names.
This dynamic relationship means you can access information when and as you choose. And offer your input!! The TRIBALPAGES website makes it user friendly to view the tree and to offer information to improve and extend the listings. Simply click on the envelope logo titled ADMIN at the top of the Home Page to send me an email.
The security settings currently allow the following access: general visitors, family members, administrator (that's me!).
General visitors see full information on the deceased and name and place of birth for the living.
Family members with the visitor password can see full information on all. If you want in, just ask.
The administrator can actually enter data to make corrections or additions.
So, with your input, there is every hope that the tree will expand and the information will become more complete and accurate.
There are known to be several organized trees branching out from members of this tree. The persons who are links from this tree to other trees (which at the moment are not on the TRIBALPAGE web-site) will be noted along with the URL when known. Click on the link provided in Useful Links.
When you provide contact information, it will appear in the Address Book. Members are encouraged to contact others on the list. Look under People in the bar at the top of the page for the Address Book. Check Events for birthdays and anniversaries. Send 'Best Wishes'. Friendships may grow!! And under People look at stories - there are occasional newsletters and some tidbits that occur from time to time. Contribute!
One of the interesting features is mapping which can show where members were born. Select an individual. Look under Tree in the bar at the top of the page to find Map. Then choose Family, Ancestors or Descendants.
Enjoy this site and use it to reach out to our family - Roots and Branches.
