The results of my research on this site includes:-
1. GRO BMD Records references, which now includes Mothers Maiden name for Births, now available from 1837 on the revised GRO website
2. Census Records references for all possible individuals.
3. Parish records,I have attempted to include all Christening; Marriage and Burial records from the parish registers. Whenever possible, the transcribed information is checked visually against the image. 4. Online Family Trees. I gratefully use these trees, but as a guide only, and only include data that I can verify myself using the quoted sources.
I try and quote a source for all the information on this site, and urge anyone who wishes to avail themselves of information found here, to verify the entry for themself!

A lot of the relationships shown on the site have been deduced from the above records and MAY BE INCORRECT. If you spot an error, please let me know, and I'll correct it for others to use.
Finally, I wish thank all those kind people who add this information to the internet for our mutual benefit. I will continue to add source references whenever I can, but if I forget, please accept my apologies, or better still, contact me and I will endeavor to add the relevant information as soon as possible.
I just hope that my efforts in producing the information on this site, will benefit others as much as theirs have benefited me!

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool. |
