In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.

About Mialocq of France
Bonjour,

A publication from French archivist, Paul Raymond revealed a list of homeowners in Sainte-Suzanne subject to taxation in 1385. On that list is a man named M-I-E-Y-L-0-C, the forefather of the Mialocq family in the Bearn.

We have made progress in developing the family genealogy website at www.mialocq.tribalpages.com.

This site you are now on, is a comprehensive website composed of the extended Mialocq Family of France including cousins related through marriage and their families.

The name MIALOCQ apparently officially originated at about the time of my grandfather, Jean Jacques Mialocq and his brother, Jacques. Prior to them, the name was MIALLOCQ as seen on his father's birth certificate (Jean Mialocq - 1798).

Prior to the 1700s, that name and variations of it such as Mailloc, Mialoc, De Mialloc, De Mialoc, De Mailloc, first appeared in the Bearn region in the early 1600s.

The first name in the MIALOCQ line, Jean, was actually, Jean de Mialoc, and until this discovery of Raymond's publication, there was no record of ANY MIALOCQ OR de MIALOC in Aquitaine prior to 1599.

This is a constantly expanding tree and may be of interest to many. Welcome and enjoy!

Gary Mialocq (1942)
