Welcome to my family tree. My name is Sylvia Yvonne Moreno. I am the daughter of Yolanda Graciela 
Guerra and William Moreno. My mother, Yolanda, was born 11/02/1941 in Hidalgo, Texas and is the 
daughter of the late Bertran Guerra and Idolina Beatrice Gonzalez of Mission , Texas. Our Gonzalez 
roots can be traced back to Spain and which they settled in Texas with some of the original 
settlers who were granted Porcions from the Royal Crown of Spain. One particular ancestor's name 
was Miguel Sanchez Saenz who, with his brother and cousin, sailed with the Escondon expedition, and 
colonized many towns including the settlement of Roma-Los Saenz in Starr County, Texas. My father, whose parents were Jose Maria Moreno and Ofelia Sanchez, whose ancestors carried the 
names Moreno, Sanchez, and Benavidez go back to the settlement of Laredo and can be traced back to 
Spanish nobility. They too, were granted Porcions from the Royal crown of 
Spain and which settled a lot of the Rio Grande Valley.  My closest family ancestor names are Moreno, Sanchez, Guerra and Gonzalez with occasional names 
such as Rackliff, Garza, Saenz, Falcon and many others.  If you see your name or anyone else's that you are certain the information is incorrect or would
