About Reweti Whanau
Please sign in to see more.
Welcome to our Reweti Whanau website. In compiling our whakapapa I have relied on as many family members as possible to supply family details and information. However, some details have come from other sources of written information as well. Information concerning James Cootes Snr may not be 100% accurate, as there are different dates regarding his date of birth and whereabouts from England. There is evidence of a James Cootes being born 14 Mar 1804 in Suffolk, England. He landed first in Hobart, Australia, remained there only a short time and came to New Zealand where he was engaged in the whaling industry.

Any other informaion or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, so as to make our website more informative and enjoyable. This website can only be as good as the information that is provided.

For privacy reasons security has been placed on this site so that personal details are protected. A password is needed, please use this site with respect.
