Welcome to the Old Family Recipe Family Tree. This is a continued work in progress. I have been working on this with a couple family members, and when one of us discovers something new, we will add it to the tree.
This tree mainly covers Hoard-Valentine-Hill-Clemens and Bradford. I have spent many hours, days, and yes even years working on this. I began my research in 1999, and have been in and out of libraries, cemeteries, genealogy websites, and message boards gathering all of the information.
Most people, when doing a family tree, only do just one side; usually their surname. I wanted to cover as many branches as I could. This site is still being added to because I am trying to represent as many details as I can. I have added notes, pictures, family crests, and anything else I could to enhance this site, and still tell the story of our family. I chose the name of this website because we are a melting pot of cultures. When you take all of the ingredients (our ancestors), and mix them together, the end result is us. That makes all of us an Old Family Recipe.
There will be family names that you have not heard of before. Some people in the family may question who these people are. Why are they included in the tree? Simple...If it wasn't for these unknown people, none of us would be here today. Take away one ingredient, and you end up with a whole different recipe.
