About Marie's Research: Grace-Smith-Cox-Culpepper-King- Findley+Simpson-Jordan-Reid-Collins & Vaughn
Because I have uncovered so many "lost" family stories (and data) in collecting the branches of
my family tree, I am very concerned that this information does not become lost to future
generations. So rather than waiting to will my research to the "relative-most-likely-to-become-a-
genealogist," I am putting it on a web site for everyone.
Doing research has forced me to learn new technology and reflect on what it was like to walk in
the shoes of my ancestors. It is almost as good as time travel. There is always the hope that the
readers will want to begin their own quests to discover their roots. And so, I will have helped to
create new historians.
I have researched these relationships as carefully as possible, but it is
conceivable that errors may be found. After all, it is a work in progress.
There is bound to be mistakes in copying and entering dates, names and places. When you come
across a mistake please let me know and I will do my best to correct it.

"Some family trees have beautiful leaves, and some have just a bunch of nuts. Remember, it is
the nuts that make the tree worth shaking"

Now enjoy and don't forget to sign the "Guest Book".

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
