About K E G's Family

I began this adventure when my husband received an album from his family with the beginnings of a tree and info on his family. In early 2010 when I received a package from my cousin Janet (Pernaa) Coulombe containing a lot of names and information written in Finnish, I had to start my own search.
Not being one to give in easily, I Googled Translate and found a site to translate phrases from Finnish into English, and I was off. Since then I have gone to any site that will let me look up ancestors, plowed through them and have come up with a tree that, to the best of my abilities, is true and as accurate as I can get it.

I still have a long way to go to get the newer generations included and am hoping for help from anyone in the family who is willing.

I just got back from New England surprising many of my cousins, unfortunately too late to go to Rosalie's Memorial and see all her descendants. It was a very short visit and I didn't get to see everyone, but, those I did see liked the loose leafed notebook idea of the genealogy book and that is how I will proceed. It was so good to have some "real" fried clams and a lobster roll; we just can't get the real thing here in Arizona.

I discovered that I'm still not tired of "Road Trips" so I will most likely be taking more of them in time.

Still need pics and info from the family; you know who your are ! ! ! - Thanks, Kath

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
