About Gardner/Warrender/Allbutt/Gwilliam/Radbourne/Madeley/Burton Families
I only started researching my family a couple of years ago but have progressed quite well. I joined Findmypast.co.uk to do the initial research and built my tree using RootsMagic which worked quite well but I built this website because it is really easy to use and enables many alternative features.

My paternal Gardner direct line has come from several areas of UK most notably:
 Kenilworth, Warwickshire;
 Reading, Berkshire;
 Stratford on Avon, Warwickshire;
 Coventry, Warwickshire;
 Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

Several members of Gardner and Warrender ended up in USA including Benjamin Albert Warrender, born in UK 1871 but died in January 1947 in Passadena. Most of the Warrender side of the family came from Staffordshire and Warwickshire.

Do have a look at some of the photo albums, you can view them as a slideshow or individually and if you click on a particular photo it will view full size.

I would love to hear from anyone with remote possibility of connections with any of my family. I was born an only child and am sure I must have living relatives somewhere. Where are you?

On Ann's side, she has researched many of the Gwilliams listed here but we shall be updating stories, notes and photos as soon as possible. (It all takes such a long time). Ann will shortly be researching her father's side (The Burtons).

Please note that details of all living relatives are entirely private and are not shown on this website unless you are an invited member of the family.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
