About Puckett/Reed Family
Please sign in to see more. WELCOME to the Puckett / Reed Family Tree website. We welcome any additions / updates to the information about you or your family if it is missing or not listed correctly. My sister, Bettye, and I have worked on the family tree for over 50 years and are very glad to now find a way to share this wealth of information about the family. We hope you enjoy your visit.
I have found a website that I really like and have linked it to some people in this family tree. It is called Find-A-Grave.com. I have been researching to link the people of this tree to those on Find-A-Grave. Since there are over 28,000 people in this tree, it is taking some time to complete, although I am not researching those who died before 1700 or are buried in a foreign country.
You may see a FAG # in the burial record of some of the people, it corresponds to a web page for that person on the Find-A-Grave.com web site. Take the FAG # listed and enter it in the Memorial ID blank and it will bring up the corresponding website for that person. On that site, you may find one or more of the following:
1. Their full name, including their married name for females
2. Their birthdate and birth location
3. Their death date and death location
4. Their burial site and cemetery location
5. A link to their parents
6. A link to their spouse
7. A link to their siblings
8. A link to their children
9. A biography, which may include their obituary from the newspaper
10. Pictures of them and maybe some of their family
Please let me know if you find any mistakes. I have found a few that I have entered and corrected them. I hope you are able to use this connection to find more of your relatives or more information about your ancestor.

Lord, help me dig into the past
And sift the sands of time,
That I might find the roots that made
This family tree of mine.
Lord, help me trace the ancient roads
On which my father's trod,
And led them through so many lands
To find our present sod.
Lord, help me find an ancient book
Or dusty manuscript,
That's safely hidden now away
In some forgotten crypt.
Lord, let it bridge the gap that haunts
My soul when I can't find,
The missing link between some name
That ends the same as mine.

We talk about them because we’re proud. We talk about them, because they deserve to be remembered. We talk about them, because even though they are not physically with us, they are never far from our minds. We talk about them, because they are part of us, a part that we could never ignore or disown. We talk about them because we love them still and always will. Forever. Nothing will ever change that.
