I decided to create this website so that our families can share info, find our heritage and  reconnect with those we have lost connection to, or to connect to those who we have never met, yet  share such a rich heritage and ancestry with.
 I am Richard 'Dwayne' Patterson. I am, like all of you, a product of my upbringing. I am a mix of my  parents, grandparents, and the family members that were a part of my youth, with a good dose of my  own, unique personality sprinkled in. Many of you will know me, some won't. That is not what matters  here. You are here because we share some of the same blood, the same moral characteristics, and the  same names. 
 I am glad your here. Look through the history here at your families. Should you see some facts that  are missing or wrong, please let me know so we can correct it. I know there have been family  additions 
 that I do not have. Please share those with everyone so we can have the families involved as up to  date as possible.
