About Roberts Penbelan/Mountford Llandyssil
Please sign in to see more.
This website was initially started to cover the Price/Mountford Llandyssil Family Trees and in particular the link to the Australian branch. As this site has been developed by Dennis and Eileen Roberts (Eileen through marriage of a Price and Mountford hence our involvement) we have progressed the tree to include our own family tree. Feb 2016 we decided to rename the site from Price Llandyssil to the current name to reflect the greater emphasis on the Roberts and Mountford family trees.
Too date we have included the Roberts descendants back to 1784 and it is our intention to also progress the Mountford routes plus our Mothers families namely Carby and Willis.
Much of the information for the "Roberts" tree has come from Michael Sadler and Gwawr Jones (except for our own tree through to Moses Roberts which came from input from the various families. The Gwawr/ Michael Sadler information followed a Roberts Family Reunion arranged by Gwawr at Gregynog Hall, Tregynon,Montgomeryshire August 2003 and was attended by 100 descedants. It was geared to coincide with the Welsh National Eisteddford as it was known some of the overseas descendants had plans to visit.
Eileen and myself plus Aunty Ann, Uncle Lambert/ Cousin David and Aunty Ethel attended the get together.
