Hello ...My name is Thomas Wright (Tom) born in a little market town in Lancashire,  still living  there, I have always been interested in where my Parents came from and where my Grandparents were  born and lived what work they did and so on.

I thought I had some idea of my mother’s side and as for my father well very little at all, it  was a subject that was never spoke off and it was the same for my wife,  very few people spoke of  their past, Thankfully we now know more because of records 
 and census`s  now available on the internet, how things have changed over the years.   
    It was to my surprise to find out the origins of my parents who came from Yorkshire Mum from  Starbotton with kettlewell and Dad Stockton, Durham But his Grandparents came from Campsall In  Yorkshire where else... Dad thought that he was a Jodie because he was born in Stockton, Durham but  not so, has he was Born while Granddad and Grandma were looking for work and some where to settle  and bring up there family.
    As for my wife`s parents well...... Her mother comes from a long line of greens in  Chippenham,  Newmarket,Cambridgeshire ,and not forgetting the male side of Haworth`s all from  Haslingden,Lancashire and lots of them ....
    Now on to my wife's Dad the name Barnes goes back to around the 1700 so far  and all in the same  town of Haslingden,Lancashire
