About HAMBLETON FAMILY TREE
Please sign in to see more.
Born Geoffrey Roland Hambleton on the 15th March 1944. I lived in orphanages and the occasional foster home(s) for nine years till 1953, then aged nine. I was adopted by the Haycocks (I had little say in the matter), I was not very happy in this environment and I was always in trouble and running away.My adopted mother at one time even had the Courts put me back into another home. Finally I ran away for the last time in 1961 to London, this didn't work out very well as I spent two years dossing around. Finally joining the Army in 1963.During the first thirty five years of my life, almost every birthday I'd wonder about my family and most of all who is my mother, then whilst serving in Germany in 1979, I received a telephone call from a lady calling herself Audrie who stated she was infact my TWIN SISTER.
She also informed me at that time that I had TWO HALF BROTHERS!!! Then in 1980 we met up for the first time, hence the reason for my branch of the Hambleton Family Tree.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
