About My UINGS/PACKHAM /ARNEY and MILES Ancestors From Kent UK.
Please sign in to see more.
My research has taken me to the area`s of Kent,Sussex,Suffolk,Hertfordshire & London.
I started my research 7 years ago in the hope that I could shed some light on the meaning of my maiden name of UINGS, I have been overwhelmed at the number of different spellings that I have found along the way.
A great deal of satisfaction and Knowledge comes our way as we recieve and find
our Ancestors and learn what it was like for them to live 100 or more years ago, how hard life was for them and to learn also the names of Occupatons we would otherwise never have heard of.
My research has for me been a wonderful learning experience that could never be
taught in any school and as I still look for even more ancestors I marvel at how they coped back then and I raise my glass in a toast to them all for the legacy they have left me.
This site is by no means complete and I will be adding and changing as I find more information please feel free to come back and visit, feel free to sign my guest Book and leave your comments.
To all of you I hope you enjoy this trip back in time with me.

MY DEDICATION.

This site I have created in dedication to my Ancestors without whome I would not be here today.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
