No nothing has bee changed at my end and I have used Chrome for a long time. It is as if the writing page has been narrowed, as the formatting is to pot with several words on each line being moved to the next line. I will check tonight when on my laptop, as on the iPad it looks ok.
Yes, you may remember a couple of years ago you gave me lessons on HTML and we set up the Onedin line music & the old ship. I have referred to you help page several times.
I must admit that I am not spending much time on tree here at the moment as for the last six months I have been getting to grips with TNG by Darrin Lythgoe and establishing a grand tree on there based on me and my wife, for the benefit of our children. It is a very powerful tool for family history. Everything is dynamically produced from a database. I have written a Help page to assist newcomers on a free Yolasite site and linked it with a bit of your HTML. I could do it by adding another page to the template I am using but I am not confident enough to start altering coding in the php files.
Also plenty of flexibility to do stuff as on here.
Have a look, link is below. Look at the Andrews where I have been correcting and linking documents and facts. It's a long job checking every individual and connecting all the evidence to facts but what I want to end up with is a tree with every fact supported by evidence and of course as many facts as possible. I suggest you read my help page first to get a feel.
I'm would welcome your feedback.

I tried it sometime last year, and I found that it seemed all Data boxes and cards.
Tribal pages do the same but to me, with more appeal. All your LINKS on the Left hand side, can be achieved with the TP Story Pages, as they are all connected Web Pages
Lots of the others are already available on TP
.
Each Page you add LINKS, which is exactly the same as going to TP Story page and adding them there. With HTML.
Maybe TNG enables you to do this without the HTML but I could not see how to do this, in your” From find your way around “
The Recordings LINK is just a LINK to YOUTUBE and again this is easily done in TP Story Pages.
Noticed that when you CLICK Home ” From find your way around “ that it does go back but you are left with two TABS open, whereas if you just use the back arrow you return correctly and only the “ HOME PAGE “ tab is showing. Link is not working correctly.

Regarding My Family Tree, would you have any record of a John and Richard PARMINTER Ship called ELIZABETH also connected to this ship a Daniel Ivy. 1698 to 1725 Ship out of Devon Barnstaple
This ship sank with all slaves as loss of life ay Old Calabar now in Nigeria
Also a Richard PARMINTER Trader also having ships trading to Portugal in the 1700

Thanks for the feedback. I am quite happy with the tree I have on TP but for what I want to do in future, I felt that TNG fits better. From comments on here, I just get the feeling that the admin support here is lacking and if it wasn't for you and a couple of others, no one would ever get a problem resolved.
On my TNG site, you are correct that the sound recordings I have uploaded are on You Tube. I have linked like that, rather than upload them, as that is where they already reside. Similarly, all my documents are on Google Drive & linked via HTML (as in my stories on TP).
My Help page is to assist newcomers who are viewing the site for the first time. I am the only Administrator, so it is not necessary to put in explanation how to do Admin stuff.

I regret that I don't know your ships or the family name. My lot were sailing out of Whitby and Shields and there are still good records from 1749 held at the Whitby Litery and Philosophical Society at Whitby museum.
There is a chap by the name of Stephen Bains who runs a Whitby group on Yahoo, who is very knowledgeable about 18c shipping. Whether it extends beyond Whitby, I don't know. This is his website: http://freespace.virgin.net/suesteph.baines/
You could contact him via there.
Bonne chance,
Rob

I'll wait and see what TP do, if they are thinking a different solution.
I kept CHROME on my DEsktop, so on certain things I jump to CHROME.
Thought when I saw the entry that there could be some connection.
