My site appears properly using IE or Firefox but in Chrome it widens well beyond the left and right ends of my screen when viewing the homepage about section. How can I correct this... what is Chrome seeing differently?

Hi Marie,

The marquee of photos was causing the problem. It was set at 100% width, so it was occupying the whole screen. We have enforced HTML5 compliance on the homepage which is causing some sites' homepage to not render it way it was before.

We changed the width of your marquee to be 700 pixels instead of 100% and it seems to work better.

Thank you very much - I knew I must have done something stupid but couldn't figure out what since it was working in explorer and firefox. Thanks again

Dear Support

Please could you try to do something with my home page, which hasn't looked right since HTML5 came on? Us non-techies have no idea of what to do to correct it.

Thanks

Hi Pauline, we fixed The Melting Pot. Any others?

Hi Pauline, we fixed The Melting Pot. Any others?
Melting Pot was the one I was worried about.

It just makes you feel do useless when these things happen and you don't have a clue how to fix the problem yourself. Genealogy I know, but the intricacies of computers are beyond me.

You've just made one senior's day!

Thanks.
