Can I create a link to an external website if it's URL begins with https?
If the answer is yes, how is this accomplished.
My purpose is to place links within notes and stories which will lead to where I store clear, crisp census reports in pdf format.
Here is the HYML CODE
Just Copy and Paste.
This will take you to GOOGLE. Just ADD your ADDRESS where XXXX are and alter the TEXT
<a href="https://www.google.co.uk/"> GO TO GOOGLE HTPPS</a>.
<a href="XXXXXXXXXXXX"> WILLIAM</a>
All the best

The HTML code that you provided was the same as the code that I have been trying for days, but failing.
But after looking at your code and my code, I discovered the (very tiny) culprit.
My open and close quotes were curved, yours were straight. Looking into this, I discovered that I had smart quotes enabled on my iMac. The straight quotes, also known as dumb quotes, have a different character code.
My link now works flawlessly, thank you.

I did indeed visit your website and it is full of useful ideas. I also recognize your dedication to helping others with questions. I am impressed.
I haven't looked at all of your how to's yet but I will over time. I did, however, take the time to listen to My Foolish Heart by Margaret Whiting. While I don't remember her personally, I remember the music of the era (even though I was a kid when it was on the radio). I enjoyed the the 33 1/3 album covers also.
For now, Bill F.
Just got rid of my collection 33 1/3 . They do not make Music like that theses days.
Have put a few on the site in list of Stories
Select
(8)Story Book PLAYLIST VIDEO for MUSIC or VIDEO, and hear
MATT MUNRO and DORIS DAY PLAYLIST
On Days Like These For All We Know
Time After Time Impossible Dream
Autumn Leaves Secret Love
When I Fall in Love Ill Never Stop Loving You
I figured out how to have these playing after each other.
You can Either have Music or Video,
such as Matt Munro or Andre Rieu
11 Story Book THREE VIDEOS ANDRE RIEU.
Lovely to watch and hear.
