Gedcom upload delay

24 hours ago I uploaded a gedcom and got this message.

"Your GEDCOM file is in the queue for processing.

Please wait till that file is processed and you have received an email notification."

No email has been received 24 hours after the event..

Am I meant to leave my browser open on the Tribalpages site for hours/days/weeks until I get the email promised ?

Oddly enough I do have others things to do rather than wait for a message that may or may not arrive.

Hi Keith, all this means is to carry on with your day/s, until you receve an e-mail from Tribal Pages as they have stated.

Why would you want to leave your browser open ?.

I don't, Les, but that is how the Tribalpages instruction reads. With computing it is very important to give precise and complete instructions, not assume everyone will know.

Hi Keith, yes I know, but that is only a message..

As you have been with TP since 2007 , you should know by now that they are not the fastest , although we would like them to be
