We are experiencing an issue with members marital status. We have several members who divorced and their data records and/or GEDCOM file input have so designated them as such. However, we found on far too many occasions the TP system does not recognize the "divorce" marital status. It really gets to be a problem when the people involve remarry and are shown with more than one spouse. This can become very embarrassing and insulting to all. I had to suspend the Newsletter because of the many complaints and comments about this "error".

It was observed that when a single person has a child and both parents are known and shown and are designated as not being married, the system appears to default to the married stats. It seems to override the "not married". This normally happens when a GEDCOM file is updated.

Can someone take a look at these issues?

Much appreciated,

Floyd
