My name is M.A. Rousseau and I have a genealogy website located at http://marousseau.tribalpages.com/ . When I try to access the site at the aforementioned address, my genealogy site comes on for about one second THEN the following website address and website
http://ww21.nurisite.com ....comes on and that site replaces (Highjacked) my site.
This is what I see when my site has been highjacked.

Can you fix this problem or tell me what to do so that I or anyone else can access and view my website.
I have had a TribalPages website for many years and lately, this is what has been happening when I try to view or update my website.
Please TribalPages look into this matter ASAP.
Thank you.

Hi Les,
I'm not sure what you mean by saying "go to compatibility mode".
I have I.E. and I went to tools, compatibility view settings.
From there I see a box that says "websites that you have added to compatibility view". This box is empty. At the bottom of this box it says "display intranet sites in compatibility view and there is a check mark in that box.
It also says" use Microsoft compatibility lists" and there is also a check in that box.
Am I doing what you said correctly?
I cannot see my site but just what I mentioned in my first message to Tribal Pages.
Andy
The program you are getting is on your PC and not to do with TP.
Have you also cleaned your CACHE, as you should do this often. See LINK. I have downloaded the FREE CC CLEANER and I use it each time I close my site, as I had the same program add to my siteas you.
Have a good go at cleaning your PC as and with the ABOVE
Definitetly add this CC CLEANER though IT IS FREE and a MUST to have

Hope that Monique and yourself are in good health
When I click on Andy's icon using Chrome or Firefox there is no problem. Using IE 11 Andy's site shows up Ok for a second and is then taken over by Nurisite.
Les, I tried your suggestion of compatibility mode using IE 11 and it worked. The only thing was that it was my site I was adding before I clicked on Andy's icon. I could not show Andy's Tribalpages site in that mode as Nurisite took over.
Andy, Did you not have the same problem some months ago. Did you fix it then or has it happened ever since. Les, type "Nurisite" into the forum search and our replies to the earlier Nurisite problem will come up.
Cannot understand why Andy did not mention the previous, and as you Query, did the using the SYSTEM RESTORE work as I suggested. If so he should do it again,
Dont believe I ever got an answer
although the other suggestions, should be used to keep his PC clean.
All the best
Les
check your added code and look for nurisite
if not this may be one For TP to sort

When I go to my website, I cannot do any work on my home page because the site changes to the Nurisite.com website after about one second.
I also cannot see or remove the codes that Tony mentioned in line 280 to 292 because I am in the Nurisite website...not my genealogy website.
If I click on View tab when I'm in the Nurisite site and then click on Source, I can view all the Nurisite codes but all the way up to line 145 (no 280 to 292 lines).
How can I go about removing that music link that you mentioned that I should remove? The procedure to follow to do that.
I don't think it would be in the Source area that I should try to remove the Nurisite website.
Thanks for your help in this matter.
Attention of Les, Tony and Alan,
I have accessed my TribalPages website with the Chrome browser as Alan suggested instead of my Internet Explorer browser. My website came up and stayed and did not changed to the Nurisite.com site as it did with my I.E. browser.
As a result, I was able to go in my home page and remove the music website that Les and Tony mentioned.
There is no music at this time but I'll try to put some in at another time.
Now the website is working properly in Internet Explorer and Andy is very happy.
Thank you so much gentlemen for your assistance in this matter and God Bless.
Andy
