I have some cousins that would like some of the information that I have on my web site.

Can some of my information be transferred to their own web site

or, can they have access to my site with another password of their own so as not to allow them to possibly erase my information.

What is the best way to share some of my information?

Thank you

Security: Website Privacy

You can make your site completely private or you can open it up to all visitors. The settings can be found in the "Privacy" option under Tools in the menu, once you have signed in as administrator.

By default, only invited family members can see private information on your website. Uninvited visitors can only see deceased relatives. They do not have access to living information. They can request an invitation to view your site and it is up to you the grant them access.

You can setup privacy on your website in one of two ways

By Invitations Only

- OR -

Access Code (Visitor Password)

Your Cousins can copy any information as they wish.

All the best

If you choose the Members option for privacy - you can set exactly which privileges you want them to have. I have a couple people (designated family) to whom I give the privilege of adding things. Everyone else gets 'guest' and they can see living people and print charts and reports but no editing.

Casual browsers that don't sign in can only see deceased people and can't print reports - they have to hand copy items
