Recently I received an invitation to a website at TP. How ever, it did not come with an access code. I was invited as a family member and therefore used my own password to my TP account to access this one. I also noticed, if I wanted I could go and edit this particular site which I found quite alarming. So, does this mean that anyone one that I invite to view my site at TP can edit my work even though I have set up a separate access code to my site. I would never allow anyone to edit my site! Thanks Dawn

Hi Dawn,

Click on "edit" . "send invitations" and you will see the following -

Member Invitees can update only their immediate family and upload pictures! They cannot make any other changes to your Family Tree. Friend Invitees are Guests. They cannot update your site.

Therefore in your case if you wish to send an invitation to someone, make sure they are invited only as "FRIEND/GUEST"
