Does the photos in Family Tree Maker export into the GEDcom file then import into Tribal Pages? I have several thousand photos attached to my people in FTM and it would be time consuming to say the least to reassign them each one individually to the proper person on here. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

The short answer is - no

FTM has uses a non-standard gedcom format that includes media at the expense of other things. At this point, I don't know anything that successfully reads their media files. If somebody does - I would love to know what it is.

SO, you are stuck reassigning the photos to people. It is always a good idea to keep a file of your photos, well labeled, on your home computer or other external storage, so you aren't dependent on access to the internet to use them. Power failures happen.

Is there any genealogy program that will create media files in the output GEDCOM that you can read successfully. I am using Ancestry and FTM but they seem to import OK into other programs. If I export from there, will you be able to attach the photos properly then? I signed up for Premium so that my photos would appear in the persons box but I see nothing?
