It looks as though the newsletters didn't make it out today at least for my group. And thoughts why?

Well, I have received mine. BUT there is a totally new format, which others might like, but I certainly do not! The person's photo is included, or a "head image" if there is no photo. (Most in my tree do not have a photo, and this new format is useless to me).

I used to print the 1-2 page report for my 94 year old mother, which she very much appreciated. Now, if I print it, it would take 14 pages!

Oh TP, TP, what a heartbreak company you are! You don't listen to your customers with all the requests they have made for you to improve your product. Instead every now and then (i.e. very rarely) you suddenly introduce some new unasked-for whizz bang "feature" which we have to adapt to.

Could we please have an option to turn off the photos?

wow, I will have to wait for the next one to see this. I don't have head shots of everyone, I have maybe documents or group pictures in there place. I know that I wanted to see a place to add a group note of my own to everyone on these. Thank You for letting me know the new look.

Hi Les. You can see your (or anyone else's) newsletter at any time, by going to Tools/Newsletters/ and clicking on Newsletter for the selected person.

Just had a quick look at some sample newsletters but long enough to make this observation. Not well done. Print too large. Takes up too much space. Looks ridiculous as many of the birthday people don't have photo's to go with their name.

One other point that I disliked was that ALL birthday people are listed whether or not they are related to the person receiving the newsletter. Enough to put me off. I would be removing my name from receiving the newsletter if I did not own my site.

David, I could not agree with you more. An amateurish attempt at an improvement which has failed in my opintion

On further checking I find I now need to explain the comment I made in previous message that "ALL birthday people are listed whether or not they are related to the person receiving the newsletter".

Looking at more sample newsletters I find that this only applied for one person who was not linked with anyone else in my tree. For some reason, the Tribalpages program has decided that because there was no link with anyone else that this persons newsletter would show the birthdays and anniversaries for everyone in my tree whether related or not. Neither is there the "relationships incorrect click here" shown for corrections. Tribalpages, you should look at this.

Everyone else is only seeing birthdays for related persons. Just the glitch for one only newsletter.
