I have a member of my tree who changed his name from COCK to COX. I was thinking of recording this as 'COCK > COX'. When I search COCK, he shows up but when I search COX, he does not. Does anyone have a suggestion on a solution that will allow me or anyone to search either surname bearing in mind that they may not be aware of a change. Merry Christmas to all.

Hi Les,

Great to see that you never give up. Long time since we communicated and you pointed out how simple things are. If only I had looked passed the search field on the main page.

Nearly ready for bed down under but I do hope you and the family have a wonderful day. Many thanks.

Best wishes

Tim

Hi Tim, yes it is surprising how time fly's.

Just had the children down for Christmas dinner and passing of presents.

Two great Grandsons age 5 and 2. Pam and I are now shattered 7 pm here, Still Christmas day, ad they have just gone.

A nice cup of Tea will go down well.

Yes IT is a queer thing as we always look for the hardest thing and not the obvious. Still we all do it, so as long as we can help each other, it does not matter.

Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR which you celebrate a few hours befor us.

All the best

Les

Thank you Les,

And yes, Jennifer & I wish you and Pam and wonderful New Year also. After 3 days away from the children and grandchildren we are catching up on some well earned sleep.

All the best for 2017 and thank you again for your help.
