Help please - I have an ancestor, Thomas Garbett, born about 1660 in Hopton Wafers, Shropshire. He married (date unknown), Ann ? A son, William was baptised in Hopton Wafers, 21 May 1684. William married, sometime before 1710, Mary ? As I live in New Zealand it is very difficult to do research 'on the ground' as it were. Perhaps some kind person can shed some light on this family

12 July 1680 a Thomas Garbet married Ann Monke of Farelow at Stottesdon. Stottesdon is 4½ miles from Hopton Wafers.

I cannot find a birth for Thomas at the approx. date of 1660.

If you look at website for FamilySearch https://familysearch.org/ and click on SEARCH then input parameters for the family that you are searching I have found 5 children's baptisms with parents Thomas and Ann Garbet(t) between 1680 and 1690.
