Have been doing history on my ancestor Mose Glass. He married a woman named Ellen Mary Hoard in 1875/1876 and his family lived in New Madrid County, Missouri for years. I have census info on him and family from 1880, 1900, 1910, and 1930. Recently have found an 1870 census with a black Mose Glass with a white family in Arkansas. In the 1880 census Mose is listed as mulatto. Is this his father and siblings. If so can someone give me more information. Also the location distance between the 1870 and 1880 locations are not too far.
