I am looking for the Timms Family in Nottinghamshire. Thomas Timms had 9 children. When he was transported to South Africa for stealing a gentlemans' horse; he took 5 of the younger children and his wife with him. Our family stayed in Nottinghamshire and Birmingham. I am looking for those family members and any remaining family there.

Our original person had 9 children, because of his crime, he took 4 of his younger children and his wife with him to Elizabethtown, SA, on the Albury...and yes he is mentioned in www.the1820settlers.com...I am asking for any family after they landed there...the son we are from, stayed in England and then emigrated to Canada, and is buried at Prospect Cemetery, Toronto..my husband is their descendent...

Hi! I think you will be luckier with your investigation through TP if you furnish a few dates.
