My Uncle married Elizabeth Marsh in 1937.
Can anybody throw any light on this,or lead me on the right path?
Thank you for your time, take care,Bill.
You advise us that the son was named David and was about 10 years of age in the mid 50s, so born sometime in the 1940s, although your mother said his name was John? There was a birth of a David J Thomason in Birmingham, June 1948, 9c, 49, but with a mother's name Godden, could that be him?
Adoption registers are not open to the public and only available to the people themselves. As this person is probably still alive you could try finding him on Social Network sites or possibly in Telephone Directories, although he may not wish to be found.
Try the above if you do not have it, its free also to user
