I am trying to find out what part of Africa or african tribe my great,great,great Grandfather belong to and what was his African name. Henry Cephas Wood was born in Africa around 1800 and came to the eleuthera Bahamas in 1834 as a liberated African.

Sorry but I couldn't find any info for the parents of your GGGGrandfather, may I suggest you take one of the many DNA tests offered. By doing this you will learn what part of Africa your family is from. It might even hook you up with a reletive you didn't know of.
