He was born on the Isle of Skye in Scotland abt. 1920.

He came to Australia and lived in the Melbourne area.

His occupation was a barman.

I do not know the names of his parents but I believe one of his sisters was named Rachael.

I note that there are quite a few of Murdoch/Murdo Munro's from the Isle of Skye.

The person I am seeking information on was born on the Isle of Skye in abt. 1922. His Father was Donald Angus Munro & his Mother was Effie Finlayson. They were both born in Sth Snizort, IOS. Murdoch later came to Australia.

At this point of time I believe that he is a cousin of my late Father.

I have not had much luck in searching Murdoch's family.

I do know that he had a sister Rachel - I met her in Portree IOS in about 1990.

Who was your father and where did he live? I am going to contact a relative tomorrow who knows more than myself and will be back in touch asap. My grandfather was Donald And my grandmother was Effie but need to check out Finlayson. Where do you live now ? Guess you're doing your family tree?
